 Ultralight Aircraft
Canyonland Flyers is a year around training center devoted to extensive ultralight
trike and ultralight aircraft training. We're located in beautiful
Southwestern Utah better known as the color country. We are 90 miles East of
Vegas, 45 min South of Zion National Park, and 90 miles North of the Grand Canyon.
Weather permitting, we fly every weekend (sat and sun) and most weekdays in
St. George and surrounding areas. You may schedule a flight any day that may

If you want the closest experience possible to your childhood flying dreams,
then an ultralight trike ride is a great way. If you can drive your car on our
highways at 75 miles per hour, then surely we can safely get you into an ultralight
trike at a remarkable 45 mph. Ultralight aircraft's are capable of
speeds 50-80 mph. The trike is one of the safest ways to fly. It has a great
track record. The ultralight trike is a very easy aircraft to fly, it's portable,
and setup time is 25 min or less for most trikes. The ultralight trike can fit
in the back of a truck and you can easily take it on vacation.
One benefit of the ultralight trike is you can land it anywhere and in short
distances. The trike performs well in light winds. The ultralight trike
can go up to 200 miles on one tank of gas (approximately) depending on motor,
wing, and trike loading.
There are many other things to experience when flying a trike. You can see things
that you normally don't see with conventional flying. An ultralight trike flight

Canyonland Flyers has two USUA certified instructors in St. George dedicated
to safe flight training, sales, and service of ultralight airplane. We're also
Utah's only dealer for Rainbow Aircraft Aerotrike line. They currently have
many world records including the longest flight in an ultralight trike.

They are geared to be the most proficient flight training program in the world.
Canyonland Flyers goal is to not only create a trike training standard, but
to also become the standard for others to compare themselves to for trike sales,
training, and service. Our flight training programs are geared to become the
standard of the entire industry. We strive for the safest, most straight forward
method of ensuring a great sensation and experience of flying a trike. If you

Our introductory flights (which you get a chance to fly) are called instructional

Canyonland Flyers is a dealer in RAD electronics which has some of the best
helmet communication for pilot to co pilot communication. We also have warp
drive and power fin propellers, BRS parachutes, icomm radio systems, and Skydat
avionics systems.
